![]() The first race, the Warm-Up Race, is a perfect stage for goofing around and getting used to the controls. When you finish a level, the time in which you completed the stage in is carried over to the next level, plus that you get some extra seconds to add to the Time Pool. This is the real deal! The obstacles are sped up, and the time you get to complete the stages is cut by five seconds, however, all the scores are doubled! There are three difficulities to this mode: The tournament mode is basically a run-through of the twelve stages available. I'll go deeper into the modes as I go on. When we click on the “Play the game!” option, we are flinged into a sub-menu with some options: “Tournament”, “Time Trial”, “Mirror Tournament” (Locked by default) and “Party Games”! The menu is simple: We have an option to play the game, tweak the settings, check the credits and of course the essential “Exit to desktop” option.
